Soup of the Day: French Onion

Guess what Chef JRob is preparing for today’s soup dish of the day: homemade French onion soup with red and green onions!

Ingredients:

(Serves 4-6)

 

2 Bay leaves

2 Garlic cloves

4 Onions

2 fresh sprigs of Thyme

2 quarts of Beef broth

3 table spoons of All-Purpose flour

Kosher salt  

Freshly-ground black pepper

1 Baguette

1/2 cup of Butter, unsalted

1 cup of red wine (Photo features exclusive “Justin” Wine)
